Sessions
Under 5s sessions:
Designed especially for little ones, our Under 5s sessions have a slower pace so hunters can take their time running around! Children aged 5 and over are NOT allowed on this session to make things easier for youngsters and ensure they have plenty to eggs to find. If your child has an older sibling and you’d like them to join in together, you’re welcome to sign them up to a general egg hunt session instead.
General sessions:
All children are welcome! Take your mark in the Sunken Garden, warm up with the always energetic Easter Bunny, and then – get set, go! Get ready for music and fun with the family. Keep your eyes peeled so you can finish with a bag bursting with eggs!
For children with additional needs:
We want everyone to have a fantastic time at the Easter Eggstravaganza. If your child has additional needs, please get in touch so we can give them the best possible experience during their egg hunt. This includes offering a level access route. Please email Chantel in advance at events@hartleburycastle.com.
We must also know about allergies, intolerances and lifestyle choices at the time of booking and before 17th April. We will endeavour to cater for these – however, in some circumstances and after this date, we may not be able to but can discuss this if you contact us.

With award-winning pianist Peter Bradley-Fulgoni
Come to this fundraising event for Hartlebury Castle Trust to support the Castle and help us make our ambitious vision for the future a reality.
In return for your generosity, you’ll be swept away by talented musician Peter Bradley-Fulgoni as he entertains us at the piano in the Medieval Great Hall. From Beethoven and Chopin to Debussy and Peter’s very own work, you can enjoy a musical night to remember – also with a complimentary drink.
Why we need your help
Bishop Yeatman-Biggs once remarked:
“Before there was a King of England there was a Bishop of Worcester; before there was a Windsor Castle, there was a Hartlebury Castle – surely we should consider well before we abandon it.”
These words highlight the belief in the importance of Hartlebury Castle’s heritage. The Castle is not merely a relic of the past; we believe that it is essential for historical buildings and charitable organisations like ours to have a relevance that goes beyond protecting history – that we have a duty to become a thought-provoking space, encouraging discussion and engagement with the world around us.
We have 1000 years of stories to tell: from the remarkable deeds of bishops who shaped national history to the everyday lives of servants who worked hard within its walls, every story Hartlebury Castle offers gives its visitors a glimpse into the past, and has the potential to invite them to reflect simultaneously on life today.
Please come to this concert and help us share our stories so we can delight the visitors of today and inspire the visitors of the future.
