Join Chapterhouse Theatre Company as they bring the windswept moorlands and tumbledown manor houses of Brontë’s gothic masterpiece to life under the open sky at Hartlebury Castle.
Young governess Jane Eyre arrives at the mysterious Thornfield Hall deep in the Yorkshire moors and meets her dashing new employer Mr Rochester. Sparks fly between the pair, but not everything is as it seems, and as Jane discovers the secrets of both Thornfield Hall itself and its enigmatic master, she must make a devastating choice.

Doors open at 6pm. Bar and light refreshments available.
Please bring a low backed chair and picnic blanket with you – you’re welcome to bring your own refreshments, with the exception of alcohol. Why not have a picnic as you enjoy the performance?
Outdoor performances will continue in all but the worst of weather, so please dress accordingly.
